Perfect for your little toddler to learn all about honeybees, a farm and even get to taste some fresh made honey!
We will walk around the yard and look at the beehives, vineyard, and chickens. We will study the flowers and see where the bees are gathering nectar. We will look at the different kinds of chickens, and the farmer will show you the different colored eggs that the hens produce. Then we will go to a shady spot, where all will be invited to see the enclosed bees in a demonstration hive, and we'll chat about bees and perhaps even find the queen. Yummy tastings of honey on pretzel sticks will close out the tour.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. No perfume is a good idea; the smell sometimes bothers the bees.
