Breathing for Life! with Oneness Meditation

Senior Instructor Christine Ucich with
Associate Instructor Ada Rios present…
Breathing for Life! with Oneness Meditation
Thursday, September 19 -- 6:30-8 PM

Breath = Life
What does this really mean? At this open house, we will discuss the myriad benefits of breathwork especially as it affects our physical health. In the Taoist Healing Arts, we have seen many, many practitioners go from illness, fatigue and stress to a life of health, vitality and joy because they changed the way they breathe!

After the discussion, there will be a meditation in which you will learn to achieve Oneness through the breath. Oneness Meditation is a practice where the awareness of our body unites with the light of consciousness to allow the opening of spirit. It is a Taoist body-mind-spirit meditation that anyone can practice regardless of your spiritual background, physical condition or meditation experience.

This talk & discussion are part of the SunDo Open House series where instructors share their knowledge in an informal session of inquiry and insight. The talk includes sitting and walking meditation. SunDo Taoist Healing Arts is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping create a more compassionate and healing society.

All open house events are free and open to the public.

    Hi All, looking forward to practicing meditation with you this Thursday at the SunDo Healing Arts Center! Here are directions...

    The SunDo Center is located at 45 South Main Street, West Hartford 06107. Once you are on S. Main street, our building is across from the Town Hall ( a large brick building with columns) and next to a small Dunkin Donuts. Our building is a beige-colored three-story building with evergreen bushes planted on a ledge around the first floor. At the front of the parking lot, there is an green oval sign with a gold # 45 and the building itself is at the back of the lot. Even though the parking spaces have assigned names, it is OK to park in any space on the weekends or after 6 pm. After entering through the front doors, go down the stairs and follow the signs to suite 90. If you have any trouble locating us, please call the center number at[masked]

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
