A concrete art class!!

This class is designed to give students the basic knowledge they need to create numerous types of concrete items including countertops, fountains, sculpture, wall art, garden art, and various kinds of furniture like benches, chairs, headboards, and coffee tables.  You will learn basic mix designs that can be made with easily obtained materials and designed to be very strong, without nearly the weight you would think!!  You will also learn how to design and build basic molds for creating the items that you dream up!  You will learn A LOT in just one class.

Along with learning the basics, this class is designed to give you the tools and tricks to use everyday items to create some very unique artwork.  We will not only learn how to create various kinds of molds, but also learn various things you can do IN the mold for creating very unique looks.  We will work with color and design options, texture styles and how to achieve them, and unique finishes for that “final look.”

Concrete is such an enormously versatile medium it is impossible to explain the volume of unique aspects and variables you will learn in these classes.  To give you an idea, I have made a great living with it for 16 years and have created more things than you can imagine, and there are still worlds I’m excited to explore!  It is one of those mediums that can start with curiosity, turn quickly into a passion, and then snowball into a creative obsession!  One of my personal satisfactions now is helping ignite the creative passion in my students and excite them with the knowledge they need to create with this awesome medium!! By the end of these training sessions you too just might be hooked on “playing in the mud!” And, each student will leave with their own piece of concrete art!

This class is perfect for the new artist or the seasoned veteran.  I have taught 100’s of students across the US and all of them learn something new and are opened to new ideas and possibilities of what they can do with concrete. If you are curious about this medium, have questions or would like to sign up, reply to this email or check out my websites.

Class is February 22nd and 23rd and is an investment of $250, which includes your materials.

Kimberliegh, with all due respect, no you won't. What I teach is not on tubes. Anyone can watch a video on how to paint, doesn't mean that you will be able to then just be a painter. There are nuances to this that you will not get from a video. You will not find what I teach with mix designs...how to keep it thin and very strong. More less what I teach with design, mold building proper color and stains and so forth. I have been creating concrete countertops and art work for 16 years....if you think you can go on a tube and learn what I can teach...well.....good luck. It has taken me that 16 years just to learn what I have learnt, and there is still way more to learn!!
If anyone is actually interested in LEARNING, than let me know. I am here to teach and share the passion of what can be done with concrete!!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
