Naturopathic Tips for Healthy Eating in the New Year & Delicious Potluck Dinner

Do you want be the happiest, healthiest version of yourself in 2013? Want to start the year feeling fantastic and energized?

We are very lucky to have as our presenter this month Dr. Rosanne Demanski, a naturopathic physician practicing in West Hartford Center.  Join us for a fun, informative talk and discussion about making positive diet and lifestyle changes.

Dr. Demanski acquired her medical degree in 1991, completing her studies at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington --- one of the world's leading academic centers for advancing knowledge in the natural health sciences. Her focus is holistic medicine for women and children.  She strongly believes in taking the time to provide individualized counseling to patients about how to achieve optimum health and prevent illness through lifestyle changes.

Schedule for the evening:
7:15 pm: Delicious Potluck Dinner begins.
7:45 - 9:00 pm: Talk and Discussion
9:00 pm - 9:30 on: Hanging out and clean up

About the potluck dinner:
-Many people have dietary restrictions. Be mindful as you prepare your dish, and list the ingredients on a note card at the event.
-This a zero-waste event. Please bring your own plate and utensils.

Donations between $2-$10 requested.  No one turned away due to a lack of funds.


FREE PARKING! In the back of the ArtSpace building. Ignore "Resident Parking Only" signs. Parking is allowed during this event. Enter through the back entrance by the murals.

This event is organized by CT Health Foodies, a supportive, dynamic community for people interested in healthy eating. We are a diverse group. People follow all different types of diets, and we respect everyone's choices.

We organize monthly healthy potluck dinners on the second Tuesday of the month at ArtSpace in downtown Hartford.
