Spring into Action with April Conditioning Hikes at the CNC on Tuesdays!

Get fit with these conditioning hikes (expect to sweat).   These hikes are for those who desire five or six mile brisk pace hikes with hills and steps and fields and streams.  One group will hike a quicker pace for 6 miles. There will only be a couple 3 minute breaks along the way to change layers, stretch or catch a drink.  The weather is predicted to be perfect, so come on out for fun, early evening spring hikes.

Start Time: 6:00 pm Be stretched and ready to go. Thanks!

What to bring: Water, hiking/trail shoes, trekking poles, snack, etc. It may be best to wear layers for comfort.

If you decide to sign up to be a member, you may apply that amount to your membership.  The trails are well groomed and a nice balance of hills and beauty.  Well worth becoming a member.  ( $35 per year for single membership, $70 for family and $20 for Add-a-guest).

Hiking. It's like a day at the spa. Next time I might get a sea salt scrub instead of the mud pack. :)

    Hello Hikers,
I'm keeping my eye on the weather for tomorrow afternoon, as some meteorologists are predicting rain and thunderstorms at hike time. If I need to cancel the hike for tomorrow, then it will be rescheduled for Wednesday evening. I'll make a decision by noon, but hopefully "the sun will come out tomorrow."
