I like to hike.

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

Hiking, Biking, Walking, Camping, Swimming, Canoeing, Rafting, Backpacking, Napping in the sunshine on a soft spot of grass.

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Denver, Moab, Sun Valley, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, and now, Yellow Springs, Ohio.

What do you do for a living?

Write, but I don't know that you can say I make a living at it.

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

Glen Helen, Clifton Gorge, John Bryant State Park, and Caesar's Creek... haven't been anywhere else in Ohio yet.

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

I almost fell off a cliff once or twice. Nothing too crazy. Tarantulas, Nettles, Weird Aggro people on ATVs, that kind of stuff.
