Introduction
I love being outdoors and active.
What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)
It doesn't really matter. I can play, work, be active or just hang out. I ski, I sail, I have kayaks, I take my dogs out all the time, I ride horses. I love to be outdoors.
Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)
I have lived in New England, and have traveled around the country a lot. Been out of the country, but not for a while. I am from Cincinnati.
What do you do for a living?
I have a couple of part time jobs. I work for a caterer and I work at the Zoo.
What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?
I like anywhere that is away from the built environment.
What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")
We set out on a hike through the Adirondack woods and hills in a group of about 8 people. We were about 30 years old. We didn't really prepare too well. I guess we brought lunch and some water, but carried nothing like warm clothes or a flashlight. We knew where we were going, but didn't know how long it would take. We were out for probably 8 or 9 hours, and we walked back into camp right as it was getting dark - completely unplanned. We were just lucky. (That's not really that crazy, but it was just the first thing I thought of.)
