i'd really like to get out on the water with you guys one of these days. i am more of a summertime, recreational kayaker, but this weather has been unbeatable! what type of gear do i need to be prepared for cooler temps on the water?

Hi Tom: As apart of the New Richmond Riverdays celebration, we want to have a 5 mile Ohio River paddle on Sunday, August 19 @10:30 am. We will leave from the new canoe/kay ramp and coordinate cars to shuttle back from Steamboat Run/9mile. We call the event PaddleBlast2. We will meet at Green Kayak Market/Eatery sunday morning.....Looking for up to 30 to attend. Last year we took donations to be used for parks/ramp upgrade in the Village. Can we post this on the site?

I am looking for a used Kayak ideally a crossover that I could use in flat water and tamer rivers around here, but also that could do whitewater. If not that then just a good used kayak I could use for the Little Miami and area lakes. I would also need a paddle and a couple of good life jackets. Any idea where I should start looking?
