Introduction

Hi I am looking forward to meeting other hikers in the local area.....

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

I like to take hikes of a three to four day duration......Four days is enough time that all of the stress of the world can fall from my shoulders but a short enough time that I don't get to smelling too bad and attract bears :)

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

Born and raised in Kentucky. I have live in several places but most of them pretty nondescript.... Chemical Engineers don't typically get to live in exciting places.... Chemical plants don't typically get built in the Rocky Mountains or Hawaii.....

What do you do for a living?

I am a Chemical Engineer and currently work as a Project Manager for a large chemical manufacturer.

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

Red River Gorge.

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

Fighting hypothermia one night in the GSM on the AT, wet and with a bag that had a rating about 10F too warm. I have never been so cold in my life. The next morning I hiked out and hitchhiked to a Texas Roadhouse...it was the best steak I have had in my life.
