I enjoy hiking, and look forward to the opportunity to discover new places and meet new people.
What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)
Hiking and camping, especially in mountainous areas, and taking photographs.
Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)
Born in Indiana, childhood in Pittsburgh, but lived mostly in Cincinnati since junior high.
What do you do for a living?
Communications Coordinator for a local nonprofit that offers schooling and resources for children with learning disabilities.
What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?
Close by - Glenwood Gardens. Farther afield - Red River Gorge and Hocking Valley.
What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")
Hiked up a mountain in the Grand Tetons many years ago. Dropped my pack and headed for the bushes. Pants down, I heard my former husband yelling for me. When I returned to him, he pointed out a Grizzly bear in the meadow. We camped 3/4 of way back down the mountain.
