I'd like to hike with you soon!
Appreciating the wonder of it all (and trying to capture it with my camera.)
Prairie Village, KS; Tempe, AZ; San Diego, CA; Carlsbad, CA; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati and New Richmond, OH and staying (although I dream of winters spent in Borrego Springs, CA)
Physician and Director of Women's Health Partnership, a solo gynecology practice.
I'm a California dreamer-Lake Tahoe, Borrego Springs, or ANY beach... In Cincy, probably the Cincinnati Nature Center is the autumn.
The craziest stuff always seems to involve animal encounters; while photographing ibexes at Hohe Tauern (Austria) they approached VERY close, and protecting my dinner from two large aggressive swans who floated to my feet at Lake Bled (Slovenia).
"The Tri-State Hiking club has been an important part of my life for the past three years. To enjoy nature with "kindred spirits" is such a joy! My trail name- Hiker Chick."
I continue to be amazed that I meet so many kindred spirits in this group!

Happy Halloween! Looking forward to coming there on the 22nd of Nov. Carol
HiJanet,
Thanks for wanting to attend the hayride it will be a lot of fun. Please send check made out CSC to Martha Folchi 22 Orphanage Rd Ft. Mitchell Ky 41017 and please email me so we can be in contact [masked]. See you then
Carpooling... Sounds like a plan! I think 4:45 at the Downs should work OK. Are we allowed to bring drinkables or "ist das verboten im Parken?" Let me know... (Cabernet or Corona?)
it was great to see you at the meeting last night .......... hope to see you again soon
Nice to meet you today, Janet. Thanks for leading. JP and I had a great time on our first hike with this group. :-)
Hi Janet
Yes- if possible I would like to carpool or else follow you from the hike to the demo days. What would you advise wearing for demo days? A bthing suit under my hiking clothes? I am a total kayak newbie.
Thanks, Helen
Thank you Janet. In the near future I'm going to have some transportation issue (have no car). I'm going to do my best to participate on every hike I can reach. I really liked this one today.
Janet - I have a little experience kayaking and don't have my own. Is there a possibility to rent equipment for this Sat.'s event or is it more for experienced folks with kayaks? It sounds fun and I would like to go but wanted to check on this info.
Thanks,
Joscelyn
Janet, I noticed you mentioned a Laurel River Lake paddle along with the moonbow hike. Where would you leave your kayaks while you hike?
