Hi Fellow Wanderers, I love exploring the world but need a map & compass! LOL If you have either, drop me a line & let's go. I enjoy adventures (inside & out), photography, sports, arts & sciences with only a lil laughter! LOL. :-D
Excite all 7 of his senses. For the details, you need to ask him. What happens in the tent STAYS in the tent! :-Danny's Mom

Adventurer: Have Fun, Will Travel. Retired Air Force engineer.
Anywhere with deciduous & evergreen trees. Maples & pines! Vast vistas and fellow hikers that like to stop and see the beauty around us.
Backpacked across the Continental Divide! INNNNNN -CREDible! Bear bells kept them away (or not showering for a week!).
Come enjoy nature with us. We have all ranges of groups from fast to stop and smell the wildflowers.
So sorry so many people changed. I was so busy that week and started a running program with Bob Ronckers trainers. I guess I was ready to stay home that evening. Thanks for your note. I am not sure when the next outing is scheduled. Tonight I got roped into a karaoke night at "Poppy's". ??? They are driving me because I said no. I did not want to go all the way to Glenway on a Tuesday night.
Again. Thanks for your note. K
Hi Danny, and welcome to OVCC!
I see your question about a camera that meets your needs. Unfortunately very few of our OVCC members will see this question in your bio.
I suggest you post your question on the OVCC site under Discussions / Ohio Valley Camera Club Discussion Forum.
I would love to go to the Padres game on the 31st, I will need a ride though. I might be able to have my DAD drop me off. Where are you coming from? leslie, [masked].
Also, for a great kayaking/hiking trip sign up with a local kayak rental/tour group and paddle on the Colorado River from the base of Hoover Dam to Willow Beach. Flat water, good flow with a couple nice hikes along the way. The scenery is breathtaking and if you are good at spotting wildlife, you might see big horn sheep and eagles. If open water is more your thing, paddle Lake Mead, starting and ending at Hemingway Harbor. You can paddle from there to the back of the dam, which is 8 mile RT.
Danny: From October to March the migratory birds are in abundance at all the birding sites you found on the Audubon site, as well as the "local" birds. A good place to see the locals is the Springs Preserve on Valley View, just south of the I-95. The Audubon society conducts bird walks at the Springs Preserve, so check their calendar to see if one will be held while you are in Vegas. If they aren't, take your birding glasses and go yourself. It is worth the price of admission.
