Introduction

Ran into some Tri-staters down at Raven Run and have been chatting ever since; great people.

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

Anything on, in, or near the water.

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

Born in St. Albans, Vermont; been in Frankfort, Kentucky, for many years; aspire to retire by the sea, should I live so long.

What do you do for a living?

Correct people's English; and to think they pay me for that!

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

Red River Gorge; that's in one of the tri-states!

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

Calling 911 for help... Yes, we were really, really lost (that's my story, and...)

Hi Ellen. I thought me son might like this group. Are there any folks in there early 20's? I would recommend it to him for the social aspect. Thanks! Mary

    Hi Ellen,

Sorry I will miss this, I have a VERY sick kitty in the hospital, so I will be tending him. I've always wanted to go here. Is this a hike I could do by myself? Enjoy for me, Judee

Hi Ellen. Nice to hear from you. Yes, I have been on several of your KISHAW hikes; Raven Run and Salato Wildlife Center, just to name a couple.

Hi Ellen, I can rent a canoe with you but preferably just the two of us, because I would not be able to sit in the middle on the canoe, hips are bad. If you can get someone who is willing to share with you and your seat we can have 3. Let me know. Do you want to go ahead and get the canoe or let me know if you need me to do this. Thanks Patty
