Live To Hike ... Hike To Live.
Long distance backpacking trips on the Appalachian Trail.
Caesar's Creek State Park, Germantown Dam MetroPark and Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve.
I would need to be sitting around a campfire and get a little prodding to tell my crazy hiking memories!
Hi Andy .... I saw something about Carter Caves in KY , was that on this site .
Tire Clean up Update - Dragons tickets
Andy, As a thank you to our group for cleaning up all those tires, Montgomery County Solid Waste has sent me 10 Dragons tickets for Saturday, July 7 at 7:00 p.m. Actual seats and not just the grassy area. I am contacting everyone who came to the cleanup. Those who contact me first will get tickets until they run out. If you do want one or a pair, I will mail them to you. Would like any? My name is Giovannina Penze and I am a freelance writer. I am currently working on a story about the 5 common mistakes that hikers make on their first challenging hike. I am looking for both good and bad hiking experience stories! I would love to hear back from you. Please pass this on to any fellow hikers you know as well.
I am hoping to do most of my interviews this weekend. So please contact me if you are interested.

Andy, would you recommend a book to purchase regarding hiking the Buckeye Trail. I've decided I want to hike the entire trail and since you have I thought you could recommend a good book to start with. I understand you have a journal as well. I am attending your Meetup on Feb. 3 for thru hiking the BT. Looking forward to meeting you.
Andy, Would you be able to post Wednesday's Thru Hiking The Buckeye Trail presentation on DaytonHikers.org website? Looking forward to hearing about your adventures. Have a great weekend, Nan
Welcome Andy, if you have not checked out our Community of Practice (CoP) https://www.knowledgenow.net/community... I encourage you to join it as well at It's a virtual community that contains an abundence of web development resources and tools to share the knowledge of the group, as well as networking tools. The slides from past presentations are also available in the CoP. Hope to see you at the Nov 2th Meeting.
