Are you currently a member of the Buckeye Trail Association?

The Buckeye Trail is 1444 miles long and goes to every corner of the Buckeye State. The famous Grandma Gatewood donated the funds for the first bucket of blue paint which marks the BT. If you have walked on the Little Miami Scenic Trail (known as the bike trail) or visited Old Man's Cave, you have been on the BT. Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the BT and I am trying to provide some feedback to the BTA of how many hikers are actually members of their association. For more info go to:

How would you like to proceed with the WEBN fireworks hike and picnic

Please rate your preferences by this Saturday and I will repost an update on Sunday. Points to consider. For Mt. Echo, Alms, and Bellevue options: Anything not downtown, may not have the view of downtown show. Roads may be crowded at those locations as well. We may have to park and walk to Alms or Bellevue Park as well. Eden Park: Limited parking. We can hike there from Sawyer Pt. See metro options below. Mt. Echo: There is a Walmart near my place in Covedale we can use to carpool. Alms: We can also carpool to Alms/Mt. Lookout from Oakley Square. Downtown: There are free park and rides offered by metro to downtown. The cost of the ride is $6 roundtrip. Locations are available from Eastgate, GE on 75N and Blue Ash. TANK also offers shuttles to both sides of River. As for walking, I have no idea how busy the city streets will be. You can forget walking the path along the River on either side, but a city walk may not be out of the question. Thanks.
