Dolly Sods Trail Maintenance and Party!

We have some trails to clear in Dolly Sods and a little more trail to clear (South Prong Trail) in Roaring Plains Wilderness Area, so we get Laneville Cabin for another weekend of hiking to some of the most beautiful Views, Falls and Swimming Holes around!  We will be doing another feast on Saturday night (Fried Turkey and all the fixings so I am charging each person $5 for food expenses for the main course on Saturday dinner and bacon and pancakes for sat. and sun. breakfast) to relive all the great experiences of the day and enjoy the cabin once again! We can arrange carpooling as always but you must contact me at least 2 days before we leave as I must also coordinate food. The cabin has a full kitchen and bathroom with 12 bunk beds, but you will need to bring your sleeping bag or tent if you want to camp in the front yard. Red Creek beckons again so we can get our work in for the year! This is cross-posted from the Washington Backpackers Meetup Group. Directions are the same as the July 9, 2010 trip. Hiking will be moderate, but we can always go to more places if we finish early. My cell is[masked]-4848.  The pictures are from last Summer's Dolly Sods Trips to give you a "taste" of what you can enjoy!

Another fabulous time in Dolly Sods with great weather in the most scenic wilderness area and a grand feast of fried turkey with all the fixings! Thanks everyone and look forward to doing it again soon!
