Maryland Heights overlooks the town of Harper's Ferry WV at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers. This is a pretty strenuous hike- the climb up to the heights is pretty steep. We will be doing the stone fort trail to take in some Civil War History stuff at the top. The total hike is only about 5 miles, but again, there is a mile of very steep terrain we'll be going up and down.
We will be meeting at the Security Blvd Park and Ride at 8:30, and car pooling to the Harper's Ferry train station to start the hike. If you want to meet at the train station, please let me know. There's an ice cream shop at the end of this hike.
I have a silver Subaru Outback and my cell number is[masked] 3211.
