As of today, weather in Davis, WV on Sat. is 30% shower. Last time (July), it was raining over the night, but good during the day time. It could be same this time. I will leave on Fri. and will meet you on Sat. at 9:30 AM. Temperature will be mid 50s. Please prepare to be warm.

If you can't find a ride, you could ride with me from the Germantown Trans Center, at 4 PM on Oct. 5, Fri.
Bus #55 from Rockville metro and #100 from Shady Grove metro run to Germantown. Both buses start from the other side of the stations, not from Rt 355 side.

After Douglas Falls, if we have time, we can visit Kennedy Falls #1 which is ~ 1mile downstream. This 25 ft falls are also spectacular like Douglas Falls.

I am leaving on Friday and will arrive ~8:30 PM. If you leave on Friday, try the Camp 70 Rd first. At the east end of the town Davis, there are two grocery types of stores with a big parking lot. On the left side of the stores, a dirt road, Camp 70 Rd, runs along the river. On right hand side, you will see spaces. If this is not avalable, the Park camp site is the 2nd option with $20/nite. The space varies. Some may be OK for two tents.
