Daylight Savings Rockville Hills EXPLORATORY Hike

7 miles or more
I love Rockville Hills Regional Park and want to explore some trails I've never done before. Specifically the Twisted Tree Trail and the May December Trail. If you have a GPS, please bring it.
THIS IS ONLY FOR FOLKS WHO DON"T MIND WANDERING AND BEING A LITTLE BIT LOST, plus we
will have to stick together.

Below is a map of the trails.
http://www.ridgetrail.org/images/interactive_map/maps/RockvilleHillsRegionalPark.pdf

Cost at the gate: $3 per person  $1 per dog

9:00am Sacramento Park and Ride
10:00am Estimated time at the trailhead parking lot
3:00pm Estimated return time to Sacramento

Directions from westbound 80
EXIT Rockville Road
CONTINUE STRAIGHT through the signal light
RIGHT Rockville Road
At the turnabout proceed straight on Rockville Road and go through the intersection of Suisun Valley.
The park is about 3/4 of a mile on the left hand side.
Look for a chain link fence enclosed parking lot.

Had a great time exploring the trails with awesome people. The park is so pretty it didn't really matter that the map was marginally helpful.

Dogs are allowed and charged $1 at the gate, however there are signs warning of $100 fines for having them off leash :(

I will be there to explore.

    Hey Shannon,
Is there any reason to believe Ollie can't come on this one?

I have a friend who lives near there and says it is easy once you get to the top. Her office takes tours
    there all the time.

How difficult is this hike rated?

Unfortunately on an exploratory hike the distance is unknown. However, I would estimate about 7 miles total and lots of hills...no real big ones though.
