Thanks for this hike! My husband and I really enjoyed it (despite his bum knee), and we can't wait to go back again, and to other places that people recommended! Rangers Mike and Ross were really knowledgeable and helpful and made the hike even more enjoyable as we learned more about the birds, trees, wildlife, and history! It was nice meeting everyone too.

Greetings and Salutations! I decided not to go on the hike for I have to be at the Sleep Train by 3:00 on Saturday for a Christian concert of numeorus bands:)
However, I am planning on hiking the Cosumnes River Reserve, located near Elk Grove that day. Anyone that is not going to Lake Berryessa are welcome to join me! Plenty of migrating birds such as Sand Hill Cranes and other wildlife is out! Email me if interested.

I'm driving from Winters. If anyone wants to carpool from here, let me know! Leaving at ~9:00.
*OR* if anyone has room and could pick me up on the way through, that would be great, too!

I'm sorry to miss this, but I am still having problems with my foot and will still be in a boot... =(

I would like to carpool/or drive a carpool from Sacramento. Another group I do things with meets up at the West Sac/Enterprise Blvd. park and ride. West on I-80, get off at Enterprise Blvd/West Capitol Avenue. See map with this link: https://mapsengine.google.com/ma...
(This is a test so if link doesn't work please don't get upset. Nonetheless it is still a good meeting spot for carpooling to the west.)
