Nature Hike - Fall Foray at Lake Berryessa

Join Park Ranger Mike for a leisurely hike on the Smittle Creek Trail along the western shoreline of Lake Berryessa. Enjoy an autumn day, exploring California's unique Blue Oak woodland and the tranquility of Berryessa. Meet at the south end of the Smittle Creek Day Use Area parking lot, off of Knoxville-Berryessa Road. Vehicles can be shuttled to the trail end point at Coyote Knolls within the Oak Shores Day Use Area. Hikers can stay with the ranger for the entire 2.6 mile, 4-hour hike or leave early if they choose. Bring a lunch to enjoy on the lake. For questions, you can contact myself or Ranger Mike at[masked] x 112.

Sorry, thought I changed my RSVP last week. I'm still booted and even if I'm out I won't be up to such a hike. Sounds great though, hope we can do it again.

So there's two Fall Foray Beryessa Lake hikes on 11/16?
This one, and that one -> http://www.meetup.com/hikersandcompany/events/137115242/?
Just curious. I'm signed up for the other one :-)

I've closed this one to RSVPs, and switched everyone to the other post! Thanks for the catch.

Is it alright if I bring my fiancé, who is not a MeetUp member?

Yes, just make sure you add in that you will be bringing a guest. I sent you an email about the double posting confusion - when you update, make sure you do it on the other post! (the link to that one was posted by Janice, below).

There has been some confusion! There is only *one* ranger-led hike this day. One of the rangers didn't see the original post and it got copied over.

I'll be adding each of you to the original post; don't be alarmed if you get some email notifications that are out of the ordinary! And, as always, please update your RSVP if your plans change. Combining these two will put the hike at over full capacity and if you don't plan on attending I want others to have a chance to go!

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

I've signed up for my husband and I. I'm sure my ankle will be fine by then! Looking forward to our first meetup with the group!
