I've flipped out this week and decided to experiment YET AGAIN with another new "hillacious" route for you guyz to try. You wanted more hills, so here they are!
We'll meet at the trailhead (Green Gate #150 I believe) at the Confluence entrance to Training Hill in Auburn, hike up Stagecoach to Upper Stagecoach, to Mossy Rock, back down to the Confluence, where we'll catch our breath before heading over for some serious climbing up Training Hill (Pointed Rocks).
Note to self: You don't have to continue up TH if you don't want to. You can quit at the Confluence where you'll find your car. Hence, why I planned it this way. If you just do the first loop, it's about 3 1/2 miles.
However, if the first part is not enough for you - animals you know who you are - we can continue on up TH (1000ft climb in 1 mile) to come back down via Pig Farm.
Should be about 2000ft of elevation gain, total.
As usual, bring water, snacks if needed, sturdy shoes, poles, and a good sense of humor - you'll need it on this hike!
