Stebbins Cold Canyon Nature Reserve is located just past Winters outside Davis.
It is a very tough intermediate 5 mile loop with rock scrambling and lots of high stair steps.
A great workout with wonderful views of Sacramento. I hope we can watch the sunset from the ridge, so BRING A HEADLAMP and an extra layer for the way down.
1:00pm at 11th and P Park and Ride
2:00pm at the trailhead
7:00pm back at Sacramento (approximate)
No dogs allowed on the reserve - sorry!
The reserve is about 55 minutes from 11th and P.
