Great hike and fun group of folks. Hadn’t done Diablo in a 2-3 years, had forgotten how fun it is and what a great location for a little tailgate party afterwards…Thanks all :-)
I spoke to several folks about my Organic Quinoa-Chia Energy Bar recipe…Can’t remember everyone’s name, if you’re interested in the recipe, shoot me an email and I’ll get a copy to you. Thanks All
p.s. For those NorCal buddies who attended, that was a good prelude to your next OGUL peak!!! 13 miles and 4000ft of climbing.

This was my first kick-ass hike for the year 2014, but I so like the challenge. It was nice to see old members and new comers. I would like to give a shout-out to our driver Hank for driving and all the drivers that volunteer, they do a great job too. The dinner at La Piñata (Mexican restaurant) was an awesome conclusion to the end of our trip. Thank you so much Tom for being such a good trooper and adding this hike on such short notice for this weekend. See you on the trails.
