Clementine Loop 6.5 miles intermediate

Clementine Loop in Auburn
6.5 miles and 800 feet elevation gain
~3 hours of hiking 

Description: From the confluence we'll walk up the middle fork of the American, cross over on the connector trail to Clementine Road. We'll walk down Clemintine Road toward the dam and then follow the south fork downstream under the Foresthill bridge and back to the confluence. Bring water and snacks, but not lunch.

Pit toilet at trailhead 
11:00 AM at Roseville Park and Ride (Sunsplash)
11:35 AM  at the trailhead
2:45 PM estimated return time to Roseville

Directions to trailhead:

I-80 east to Auburn

Exit Elm Street

Left on Elm Street

Left on 49 (High Street)

Cross Lincoln Way down into the canyon Follow 49

PAST the first bridge that turns toward Cool

Go straight onto Old Foresthill Road

Go over the second curved bridge

Park on the right after the second bridge

    I just checked the rador for Sacramento and Auburn, its gonna be overcast or party cloudy for much of the day, no rain til this evening. The trails my be muddy and drizzle though.
