Matt Davis to Stinson Beach to Dipsea to Steep Ravine
This gorgeous loop is a favorite of practically everyone.

~ 7.3 mile moderate to difficult loop
~ 1,600 feet elevation change

Proposed Itinerary:
We must get an early start to assure parking spots.
7:00 AM meet at 11th and P and drive to the Pantoll Ranger Station parking lot
9:00 AM estimated arrival at Pantoll Ranger Station (parking fee ~$8)
9:15 AM head down the Matt Davis trail to the town of Stinson Beach  

Regroup in the town of Stinson by the little park and bathroom.
Continue to the beach where we'll eat our packed lunches and enjoy the ocean for about 2 hours. Bring a kite or wading clothes, if you'd like.
~1:00 PM walk up the Dipsea Trail to connect with the Steep Ravine Trail which will take us back to the cars. If you don't know the way, please wait for someone who's done it before.
~ 3:00 PM Arrive back at the cars
~ 5:00 PM return time to Sacramento

No dogs allowed per park rules.

Please pay your carpool driver approximately $16 for 4 hours of driving time, plus your share of the parking fees. Try to carpool with people of the same schedule and ability.

Directions to trailhead:
I-80 west toward San Francisco
Merge onto Hwy 37 at Vallejo
Merge onto US-101 S toward SAN FRANCISCO/OAKLAND.
Take the CA-1 N exit toward STINSON BEACH.
The Pantoll ranger station is on the left IMMEDIATELY after the turn for Pan Toll Rd on the right
