MLK Day Robie Trail 7 Miles Not Terribly Hard

Trailhead:  Green gate 150 at the confluence of the American River on Hwy 49.  Same trailhead as Training Hill, but NOT TRAINING HILL.

10:00am Roseville park and ride
10:30am at the trailhead

Moderate 7 mile loop hike, 1000 feet of elevation gain.

This trip is moderate at the start as we SKIP Training Hill and continue straight on the Robie Trail. We'll cross Hwy 49, walk behind the Quarry and descend to Murderer's Bar on the Quarry Trail for a nice view of the middle fork of the American River.  For those who are so inclined we can visit the quarry or hike back to the vehicles.

~ 4 hours to do the loop.

Dog friendly

Bring snacks, water and rain gear just in case.

Directions to trailhead:
I-80 east to Auburn
Exit Elm
Left on Elm
Left on Hwy 49 (High Street)
Cross Lincoln Way down into canyon
Follow Hwy 49
RIGHT over bridge towards Cool
Park immediately after bridge on right side of road
Meet at the green gate #150
