Hello everyone,

For those of you that signed up for the "Cromwell Valley Park w/Loch Raven add on" hike to take place on Saturday July 21st. I have to apologize. I've had to cancel this hike due to family matters and will need to reschedule it for a later date. Sorry for the late cancelation, but I thought I'd still be able to make it. Matters have become urgent at this time and require my presence during the scheduled hike time.

I'll be posting a new date for this hike in the next little while after all current issues are resolved. I hope you all have a great weekend and I'll miss seeing ya.

I couldn't make this one so in some ways I'm glad it's being rescheduled. On the other hand I hope everything is okay with your family, and wish you all peace.

Thank you all, those that posted here and those that emailed me directly for your well wishes, your concern and your support. Things are finally coming to a head and hopefully we're seeing light at the end of the tunnel... I should be back out and hiking in the next week or two at the most, which means that I can schedule hikes for us! (Yea! lol) Until then, keep on hiking and taking pics so I can enjoy vicariously! Lisa and I went on the trail anyway like we discussed, thank God we had the map....it took us over an hour to figure our way out of that trail. Hurry back Rick, we need you as our guide!

Rick, I'm glad to hear things are getting better!! I went out on a solo hike to another spot the day we were sceduled to go out, but I definately had more fun with the group! I'll be looking forward to the next local hike that you coordinate when things settle down!!
