Hike twice a week; asthma & passing 60 hasn't stopped me. Hiked the world's tallest hikeable mountain Mt Kilimanjaro (Tanzania, Africa). Lead hikes (over 100) for us, PATC, AT Conference, etc. Completed PATC Hike Leader & Leave no Trace courses.

No problem with driving, I get good gas mileage. Loved the hike today, so beautiful with the snow and ice. As for asking to be a leader - not happening anytime soon! I did look at my map today though.
