Palos Trails hike

We're hiking parts of the Palos Trails System in Willow Springs. We'll meet at Red Gate Woods- west side of the parking lot. Hiking approx 6 miles. The terrain is hilly with uneven, sometimes narrow trails. We will walk at a brisk pace.
Bring water and a snack for the trail. Dress for the weather in layers.

Directions: I55 south to LaGrange Rd (Manheim/12/20). South on La Grange Rd to Archer Ave(171). South on Archer. The entrance to Red Gate Woods is on the left side of Archer 2.4 miles past Willow Springs Rd(104th).
From 294 exit 75th St/Willow Springs Rd. Turn right (west) on 75th St which ends at Willow Springs Rd at the first stoplight. Turn left (south) on Willow Springs Rd to Archer Ave(171). Turn right on Archer(south). Go 2.4 miles to the entrance to Red Gate Woods which is on the left side.
From 83 (Kingery) take Archer Ave(171) north 1.4 miles to Red Gate Woods.
