they are still predicting 40% chance of rain in the afternoon and light/moderate winds off the lake.

please be sure to dress in layers, bring raingear and/or umbrella and a snack/drink for the trail as you need. much of the trail is prairie/open, so if/when it rains, we may have little option for temporary shelter under a big tree but we will try. it would probably be wise to have a pair of dry socks/shoes in your car and even a change of clothing otherwise for after the hike social and ride home.
