This little bluff gem became a St. Paul park seven years ago. It was private land that neighbors saved from development and have worked to restore to its native state.
This year's work will include clearing precut buckthorn from the woods and stacking it for removal. There's always plenty of work for everyone! Join a dozen Rovers and the Friends of Henry Park to lend a hand and discover a quiet little oasis not far from Pig's Eye Lake. At 11:00, the Friends will grill up some brats!
We will meet at Henry Park in St. Paul, between 8:00- 8:30 a.m. Wear your work clothes, (long pants, long sleeves) and bring protective eyewear/sunglasses and work gloves. If you forget, there are always supplies available. Henry Park is located between Skyway Drive and Ogden Street in St. Paul, Minnesota. The best access is from 2120 Skyway Drive (just south of Battle Creek Regional Park on the Mississippi River bluff.) Map here.
