Hike Isles, Cedar, and Brownie Lakes

We'll hike around Lake of the Isles, plus Cedar and Brownie Lakes, it'll be 70% paved paths with single unpaved tracks though the woods around the north east and north sides of Cedar and around Brownie. Total distance will be roughly 6+ miles with a reasonable heat adjusted pace. There will be no hills of any consequence.

Other options include stopping at Punch Pizza or Rustica for a late in the hike replenishment.

Please wear suitable off-pavement comfortable footwear and bring sunscreen, a liter of water, and bug dope just in case the bugs are out when we visit the NE end of Cedar.

Please keep in mind that we take attendance so if you change your mind about joining us, please be sure to change your RSVP to No or send us an email to avoid a 'No Show' on your record.

If you have any questions, you may get in touch at [masked] or[masked]-0569.

It was an excellent day for a hike, good weather, not too many people, no mosquitoes or ticks, and good company.

Im just seeing that I'm off the wait list. I live in River Falls and will not make it in time. Too bad for me. Next time I'm just going to show up. Enjoy the beautiful day.

Sorry to cancel this hike. Today is my birthday and my dear sister from Los Angeles surprised me yesterday with a visit. We just returned from our own hike!

I have been in this group for sometime now, but have yet to make an event. I would like to change that today. I'm wondering how the waitlist works? Can the waitlist people be a seperate group?

There are sometimes when another event organizer will post a second event in order to accommodate those on a wait list. Again as I replied to Colleen, it boils down to the demand far exceeds the supply so we're in need of more event organizers. Please get back in touch if you're interested.

want to go but I am working until 330pm.
it would be nice to have an event that was around 4pm.

One of the best ways to have an event that fits your needs as to location, schedule, and type is to volunteer to become an event organizer. With a membership approaching 3000 and a relatively few active event organizers, it can be frustrating waiting to find an event that not only fits your schedule and location requirements but also isn't already full. Get back in touch if you'd like more info on becoming an event organizer.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
