JUst FYI the cookie exchanges I have been to have went something like this. Bring your cookies in pkgs of 6. If you bring 8 bags or containers of 6 each, exchange for 8 new pkgs/containers of 6 each. That way you take back the same number of cookies you brought, but all new ones from other people. Of course, bring some of your own to sample and share. But of course, it is your party so do as you wish. Just thought this might help.
