  • Looking for a quick workout? Fast Paced? Then this ISN'T for you. We so often freight train thru our hikes/walks, we rarely slow down to enjoy what we're traveling thru. Not this one. Plan on more of a stroll thru the woods. BUT THERE IS A SECTION OF STAIR LIKE CLIMBING. COMPARABLE TO 2 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. THOSE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THIS, CAN EXIT AT HIKES HALFWAY POINT NEAR PARKING LOT. (This is a great hike and we watch out for each other) By RSVPing yes, you agree to liability waiver and participate at your own risk.

People could meet at English Landing Park and walk along the paved river trail instead. :)

Will walking shoes work for this one or will hiking boots be necessary?

    • Rich R.

Hi shireen. It's not PAVED. So tennis shoes aren't recommended unless you double sock.

Yes it was cold this morning, but the tears on our cheeks came from something else. We came across a pet grave. Some dear child buried her pet. Amongst the newly placed plastic flowers, was a rock. It had a name, a drawing and a heart on it. What a sweet little kid to do that. THIS IS THE HIKES I LOVE TO LEAD!
