This Meetup caters primarily to the casual hiker that likes to get out for an afternoon and spend a few hours enjoying nature.  We generally hike for about two hours at each event and frequently meet for lunch afterwards.  We hit trails all over the Kansas City area.

We keep a full calendar of events and are always open to suggestions for more!  Feel free to suggest one and see if others are interested!

Meet other local hiking enthusiasts who love the outdoors, want to get out in nature, get a good workout, and meet some cool people!

By joining the Kansas City Hiking Meetup group: I understand that during my participation in any event or activity organized by the Kansas City Hiking Meetup, I may be exposed to risks including, but not limited to, the dangers of serious personal injury, property damage, and death ("Injuries and Damages"). I agree to WAIVE, DISCHARGE CLAIMS, AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY the Kansas City Hiking Meetup, its organizers, event hosts and leaders from any and all liability on account of, or in any way resulting from injuries and Damages, in any way connected with the activity. I further agree to Hold Harmless the Kansas City Hiking Meetup and leaders from any claims, damages, injuries or losses caused by my own negligence while a participant on the activity.
