Join us for a short, but steep hike on the west side of the Sandias. We plan to maintain a fairly brisk pace to get our heart rate up. If you are a beginner, this is a steep grade and may be difficult for you to keep up.

Total distance (out and back): 4.5 miles

Elevation gain: 1649 ft.

Total time: 2-2.5 hrs., this includes time for photos and snacks at the top

What to bring: Water, snack, hat. No dogs please.

Limit 15 hikers. If you RSVP and can't make it, please change your RSVP as soon as you know so that others will have an opportunity to advance from the waitlist.

As Cathie is not leading this hike, is there anyone that knows the route?

Hopefully once the fire ban is lifted, I will be recovered. Have fun all. Need someone to head it up today. Thanks.

So, since the RSVPs are closed, but only 13 attending, does that mean I could come? I'm 4th on the list.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
