Copper Avenue-plus

  • Jul 17, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • Copper Trail Head

We will hike the typical Copper Avenue loop, adding some trail to the north. This is one of the easier hikes in the Sandias.
There are three uphills that will get you huffing and puffing.
I hike at what I consider to be a moderate pace.
If you do not carry at least a pint of water, you might wish you had.
Total distance is an estimated less than 4 miles. Time, less than 90 minutes.
No dogs, please.
For newcomers who have not hiked this trail, you find it at the very eastern end of Copper Avenue. Park on the street near the barricade.

Good workout, especially after sitting in my office all day. Thanks Jim!
