Copper Trail Head
We will hike most of the typical Copper Avenue loop, then add some trail to the north. This is a good workout if you have only 90 minutes to invest.
Three uphills will get you huffing and puffing.
I hike at what I consider to be a moderate pace.
If you do not carry at least a pint of water, you might wish you had.
Total distance is less than 4 miles. Time, less than 90 minutes.
No exposure. No scrambling.
No dogs, please.
For newcomers who have not tried this trail, you'll find the trailhead where Copper Avenue dead-ends at the foothills, seven-tenths of a mile east of Tramway Boulevard. Park along the sidewalk near the barricade.
