Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies Pt. 2 - Jasper National Park - Difficult

Hike and scramble in the Canadian Rockies  while enjoying some of the finest alpine scenery in the Rockies and North America. There will be 4 parts to this trip: the second part is in Jasper National Park, where I plan to bag peaks around the town of Jasper, Alberta and the Columbia Icefield. I'll be camped just outside of town in the Wapti Campground, Site D-1. The hiking is challenging and the days are long. If you are a peak-bagger and this sounds like something you'd enjoy, I'd like some company. Expect hikes/scrambles in the 7-18 mile range with lots of elevation gain on each mountain. A lot of the peaks have established routes and trails, but plan on off-trail hiking too. Interested? Contact me before May 23. You'll need a valid U.S. passport to cross the border.

The Jasper NP portion of this trip was my favorite. Love bagging peaks near Jasper and the Columbia Icefield. Knocked off a few peaks from my to do list and enjoyed some phenomenal hiking and scrambling and weather,
