Workout-Timed Hike: Piedra Lisa Trail

Departure Time: 6:00pm, please be prompt because we will leave at 6:05pm.

Cost: $3.00/vehicle (unless you have a Sandia Mountain Parking Pass). Note: If you don't have a pass, you need to visit the pay box right after you cross the second cattle guard on the right and pay.

Who Should Attend: All fitness levels welcomed. This is a great workout hike!

Hike Description: Piedra Lisa is rated as a moderate hike.  We will be hiking up the south end of the trail.  From the Piedra Lisa parking lot it is 0.4 miles to the trailhead and it is 2.4 miles total (one way) to the top with approximately 1,600ft. of elevation gain.

The Piedra Lisa Trail is easy to follow. Everyone is able to hike at their own pace and not as a group. Since people are hiking at their own pace, you may find yourself hiking by yourself at times. If that concerns you, you probably don't want to participate in this hike.  The turnaround time is 55 minutes from our start time.

Direction Note:  Don't click on the link within this posting for directions, it is not correct. Unfortunately, the system will not allow me to edit it.

Weather: If inclement weather looks imminent, please check this site 30 minutes prior to the start time.

Donation Request: If you enjoy the Albuquerque Hiking and Outdoor Meetup group, please consider donating $1 to help with the annual website fee.  I will be collecting any donations and giving it to our new meetup lead organizers. Thanks!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
