Hello one and all,
For our first event of the new year, we'll be making a trip to southern Indiana for a hike at Brown County State Park in what will be roughly a three-hour (or more) hike. The trails at this park range from easy to fairly rugged, so be prepared to burn off a few holiday calories.
Our usual after-hike dinner will be happening at the Irish Lion in Bloomington.
Car Pool Info: Our usual north-side car pool will be meeting along the west side of Broad Ripple High School (1115 Broad Ripple Avenue) in the free parking spots along Compton Street just south of Broad Ripple Avenue. The best places to park are directly beside the high school between Broad Ripple Avenue and 62nd Street. These spots are free on Saturdays and are usually wide open when we meet for the car pool. We'll be leaving at 12pm on Saturday. Please be on time and please be prepared with anything you intend to bring.
Car pool @ 12pm.
Hike @ 2pm.
For anyone who would like to meet us there, we'll be meeting at the West Lookout Tower, near the west entrance to the park from State Road 46. A map of the park is located here.
See you on Saturday,
