Social - FREE Advance Screening of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE!!

Hello, all!! I just came across some FREE passes for our group (50!!)!!

MGM's hilarious new comedy, HOT TUB TIME MACHINE stars John Cusack and Craig Robinson ("The Office") opens Friday, March 26, 2010. Check out the trailer here - www.kicksomepast.com! (A synopsis is pasted below). MGM is holding a free, advance screening of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE at the Regal Circle Center on Wednesday, March 10 at 7PM. As most know, these passes are given out in large numbers, seating is first come, first served. We recommend arriving early. (This is stated on the ticket, too). Each pass admits 2.

The movie looks pretty funny in the trailers, so I hope you can make it to enjoy!! Feel free to plan to meet up with one another if you can. Just might be tough with crowds! Let's do this... one meeting spot and time will be the Alcatraz entry to the mall at 5:45pm. smile So that you have control over when you get there, I'll meet twice, to hand out passes early (if you want passes early instead of at 5:45pm Wednesday in the entry by Alcatraz), you can meet me 1) on Monday night from 6:00-7:00pm in Zionsville at DC's Pub just east of I-65 on 334 (Zionsville exit) or 2) on Tuesday night at 6:00pm-7:00pm at Blue Crew in Castleton (just west of I-69 on E. 96th St.). Following the movie, we'll probably have a little beverage/snack time at a local pub. Waiting to hear back from Michael to see what sounds good. If you have suggestions, send them along!! biggrin

HOT TUB TIME MACHINE follows a group of best friends who’ve become bored with their adult lives: Adam (John Cusack) has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou (Rob Corddry) is a party guy who can’t find the party; Nick’s (Craig Robinson) wife controls his every move; and video game-obsessed Jacob (Clark Duke) won’t leave his basement. After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures – one will find a new love live, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!

Movie was funny, although definitely not an Oscar contender. But the company was fun, as was out after at Scotty's.

Had a great time seeing everyone!! Loved the people, enjoyed the movie (though I think it was only having a big brother that prepared me for some of the parts!), and loved hanging out at Scotty's afterward. Good times! Thank you all for making it great!!

The social part of it was good, but the movie sucked!!! Glad it was free, cause I would have been demanding my money back otherwise. Hanging out afterwards at Scotty's was nice, never been there before.
