I couldn't join you guys on Saturday because I had already made plans, but I took your plans as inspiration to go by myself today, on Sunday. Thanks, it was a wonderful hike.

I will be taking hopefully the 7:30 ferry and I hope it won't be late due to fog, but please don't leave before I get to the P&R.

It is easier for me to go directly to the trail head. So, I will meet everyone there around 10AM. I probably will get there before 10.

Andy, we'll make a quick stop to regroup at the Verlot Public Service station, and drive together to the trailhead from there. So you can meet us there if you want instead of the trailhead.

We’ll sort out who rides with whom at the P&R. Bring your NW pass just in case your driver does not have one or forgets it.

Any idea how much snow we may encounter?

    October 18, 2013

    • Darren

Per my description above: "There is very little or no snow on the trail". No need for special snow gear. But waterproof hiking boots are always good for the mud.

I did this hike twice in August and it was terrific. Actually did an overnight the second time at the lakes...even better. Looking forward to doing this again. Thanks for setting it up if I can get onto the list of attendees vs the waiting list.
