Hi everyone! I've visited this falls twice this month and think it's pretty nice, so am posting it as a Meetup.
We'll meet at the top level of the Eastgate P&R at 8:00am. Travel time to the Middle Fork trailhead (via exit 34 on I-90) is about 1 hour and includes an amazingly pot-holed 9 miles of gravel road (if you drive, your car will need a wash afterward). We'll walk on an easy (and sometimes muddy) trail at a fast pace of 3mph for nearly 2 hours, then ascend a faint trail for 45 minutes to the falls. Will eat lunch on a rock ledge at the mid-level falls, then cross the stream, ascend the far bank, and hike to the upper falls. Expect to be outdoors for about 7.25 hours, returning to our vehicles at dusk. The trail is snow-free. Elevation gain is about 800'. We'll scramble over & under fallen trees at some points. A NW Forest Pass is required for vehicles, so if you have one - bring it. Dress for the weather and pack a lunch.
Afterward, we'll go to Red Robin in Issaquah for supper. This is an all-day event. Carpools can be arranged at the P&R. I can carry 3 passengers in my car.

See you Saturday! :-)
