Welcome Summer Evening Potluck Picnic

Distance: Picnic 0 miles, Hike aprox. 3 miles

Difficulty:  Easy

Description:  Since Summer officially started only a few days ago let’s get together and welcome Summer and the long daylight hours with an evening potluck picnic with an optional stroll at Priest Point Park.  June 20th was the Summer Solctice in Olympia and officially the start of Summer.  The sun will not set until 9:11pm so after the picnic we will take a stroll on the Ellis Cove trail to work off dinner. 

Please note in your RSVP what you will be bringing so we do not have lots of burgers and dogs but no buns etc.

Parking pass required?   no

Dog Friendly?  Yes

Remember to bring:   food, drink etc.

Shelter location : Shelter #3

For more information:

 I have the shelter from 4pm-8pm.  I plan on getting there around 4-4:30 and taking a walk on the trails on the East side of East Bay Rd you are welcome to join me. The shelter has water, 4 picnic tables, two adjacent grills and two electrical outlets. You may want to bring Camp chairs for sitting around as well.
