Let's tour a park together, and try the trails!

Hey, the weather is awesome in Thurston County. It's been so sunny for 5 weekends in a row! If you can't make it to this meetup on April 4th, please email me a "vote" and I'll post the event again later. Let's hang out and walk the trails, at a cool Art park! I'm inviting some friends and other meetup groups to come. I'll be your totally cool tour guide, at this fun art park. It's a 10 acre park that's like the ultimate scavenger hunt - Can you find all those world-class sculptures hiding in the forest? Whether you're a high class connoisseur, or a busy mom who's bringing kids that love to run and play in wide open spaces, come one, come all. Let's hang out. Bring a bag lunch and your water bottles if you want. AND, did I mention, ADMISSION AND PARKING IS***FREE***??? :) If you guys want to, after the park tour, we can also take off for a slow-paced, easy-fun venture on the Chehalis Western Trail. We can go for just a ways. If you're up for a 4 mile venture, we could check out this really awesome lake nearby. So bring your bike, rollerblades, walking shoes, non-motorized scooter etc.! We can head back to our cars by 4pm or so, so everybody can get to their evening plans. ------------------ By the way!! Please look at this meetup page on Saturday, the day before, to make sure we're still on to go. If only a few of us can RSVP for sure yes, we might as well cancel and wait for a larger meetup. The more the merrier! Also, if it's suddenly raining bad, we might cancel. I know some of us have long drives, so, just trying to maximize the fun factor here! Thank you! ------------ For trail information, maps and mileage distances: http://www.co.thursto... For the park info: http://www.monarchart... For the park map/directions: http://www.monarchart... ------------- The group Leader Karen says the following about our meetups. Please join in! "Paces can vary for those who ride faster or slower, we'll regroup often. Again, no skill levels really apply to this ride. Just show up! Plan on a 2-3 hour ride. This is a great way to get in some easy exercise, grab some fresh air, laugh along the way and have spend a leisurely time, with time left for whatever else you plan for the day!"

Hey, that was really great - it was nice to hear some of the background on the artwork, and great company to see it with!

Hey folks, I know there's some rain out right now, but I think it'll get better. Also, the park owners will be around this sunday. So we can check out the indoor art gallery between showers. YAY! I've got a folks coming from a biking group too, so this'll be interesting. See ya soon.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
