I have been hiking from Big Creek Campground (which is the very bottom of Mt Ellinor) up to about 3000 to 3500 ft in elevation. Depending on how I feel. The starting point is at 800 ft. elevation.
I do this about once a week on Thursdays or Fridays, depending on my work schedule.
If you would like to join me please do.
No passes are required and I will drive. I have room for three.
It's just a one hour or so drive from Oly.
Round trip hiking can be from 8 to 10 miles, and from 2000 to 3000 feet in elevation gain.
A great workout on the bottom of Mt. Ellinor, not nearly as steep as the top half, of which we will be in shape for at a later date. :-)
