Drive: 1.15 hrs one way

Return Time: I can not guarantee when we will be back. If you have to be back at a certain time you need to not attend or drive your own car.

Be prepared for Rain. Bring Rain Gear, extra clothes, hat, gloves and a bag for muddy boots. Please do not wear cotton .

I leave on time. I do not wait. Please arrive 10 min before 8:00 am We will leave at 8:00.

Description: This hike will be a semi-loop. We will go up the Nook and Section line trail  (1,300 ft in a mile). Check out the rocks on the Talus Rocks Loop Trail. Stop at the summit of West Tiger #3. Then go up down and up to #2 then down and up to West Tiger #3 and have lunch. Then we will go back to West Tiger #3 the same way and then take the Tiger Mountain Trail down the mountain. I have been to West Tiger #3 but not 2 and 1. Be prepared for a little route finding.

Driving Directions:

From I-90 take exit 20 and then turn right onto the frontage road paralleling the interstate. In just under 0.5 mile the road ends at a gate. The gate opens daily, though it is closed and locked at 7:00 PM. Park outside the gate if you'll be returning late in the day. Otherwise, continue another 0.4 mile to the Tradition Plateau trailhead.

    At the present time we have 6 people going. My car only holds 5. If the # goes back down to 5, I will pick you both up, otherwise you can ride together and meet us at the trailhead. We can finalize plans on Wed.
