Let's go taste 146 different Clam Chowders. No actually we'll each be tasting around 6 of them - tasting kits are $8 and proceeds benefit the city of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation department programs. Last year $66K was raised. I went with Let's Hike and Maybe take a break if we get tired last year and it was really fun. It's hard to stay together as a group went we get there, because there will be a lot of people, but we can try and get in little clumps to hang out there together. I'm expecting that the formal part of the walk will be over when we get to the boardwalk because of that. It's a fun, relaxing event. No dogs are allowed, sorry Jack. Wear shoes that you can walk 3 miles to the Boardwalk in, stand around in for several hours, and walk back to Natural Bridges in.
We'll meet at Natural Bridges at the ranger booth at the Entrance Gate at Swanton Blvd. to Natural Bridges State Park, and then walk to the Boardwalk. There is free parking along Swanton Blvd. but you may have to hike a bit of a way to get to the Entrance gate ranger booth so allow 5 or 10 minutes for that.
Bring a $1 bill for organizer for meetup fee, and money for tasting kit $8, and money for drinks or extras if you want.
